I’d stared the devil in the eye, and without any subtlety, I kinda told him to go fuck himsel, adding a provoking wink for good measure.īut setting aside the action, what blew my mind was the way the author manages to bring forward our characters’ personalities, their most hidden feelings. In fact, normality is way out of reach! There is constant action and constant edge of the seat position! There are some absolutely scorching scenes between the two that will feel like the book is burning up in your hands (or tablet, or phone or…whatever device you have). The action is fantastic! In no moment we forget why everything happens and why our main characters are not able to have a normal relationship. The good guys and the bad must work together to defeat the greatest evil out there. But when the threat is inside the family and when the case has such an attractive FBI agent in charge, things get more complicated. Acting head of his family, Cole has the responsibility to defend and protect his siblings and extended family against all kinds of threats. The plot revolves around an FBI agent – Annisa Fox – following a big mafia family, currently led by Cole Torian. She is not just good, she is brilliant! And I will explain why with. If you say Eden Summers is a good writer, well my friend, I think you’re wrong. I enjoyed reading it so so much! Now, after several weeks, I still relive the feelings I had, the emotions I felt in all those hours spent with these characters. Another long overdue review! I know, but this book ….
